About Baddi       Baddi is an industrial town located in the foot hills of Shivalik range being part of an industrial corridor stretching from Brotiwala to Nalagarh. It is 25 kms from Chandigarh; and is fast turning into a huge industrial hub with the Himachal Government offering freebies and concessions in a big way. The importance  is further accentuated by the State and Central Governments approving the following projects.       Siswan – Baddi link road. Chandigarh – Baddi railway line. Chandigarh -  Panchkula – Mohali – Baddi metro link. Four lining of  Pinjore – Baddi road. Malls coming up in the region.       Last three years have seen it become a home for many big Companies, thus generating mommoth  employment opportunities. With great demand of skilled workforce, there has been a marked growth in the demand for dwelling units which is likely to grow further. In the absence of this shortage, the workforce is presently forced to commute from Chandigarh and adjoining areas. One estimate has pegged the demand at 15,000dwelling units. As a result the rates of property in the region are spiralling upwards.
